Maison Palestine’s mission brings audiences closer to an understanding and appreciation of Palestine by introducing them to its academic, social and artistic institutions. We amplify publications, curations and other forms of knowledge production and cultural expression from the Palestinian past and present.
Exhibition: Des bosquets qui brasillent
In fall 2025 and winter 2026, we will exhibit Des bosquets qui brasillent (Glimmer of a Grove Beyond) first at Montreal's Articule gallery, then at the Bibliothèque des livres rares et des collections spéciales at the Université de Montréal.
Curated by Adele Jarrar in 2020 for the Palestinian Museum in Birzeit, it is a collection of historic political posters of the Palestinian revolution from the 1970s to the 1990s, depicting the national liberation struggle.

Maison Palestine has a burgeoning library of around 1,000 works and a documentary collection comprising family and activist archives, including the Rezeq Faraj collection and the Lorraine Guay Collection.
Maison Palestine seeks opportunities for curatorial engagement with Palestinian scholars, artists, writers, filmmakers, designers, architects, and other knowledge producers and creative individuals and collectives.
Curation and commissioning exhibits are at the heart of our mission. Activating documentary culture and visual representation enables Maison Palestine to reclaim Palestine’s narrations amidst the Western project of eradication through a pedagogical use of living archives.
Maison Palestine translates into French, and from Arabic and English, a range of contemporary documents relating to the history and present of Palestine in all its dimensions and all its territorial and diasporic components.
Maison Palestine sponsors Palestinian-led cultural initiatives locally and in Palestine, including social engagement activities with a focus on self representation and self-determination.
